O R I G I N – S T O R Y
What inspired these lines? Well, firstly, there was a time when I secretly longed for a true connection with a woman. I felt somewhat lonely during this phase of my life, even though I was actually happy. I was doing well, but I still somehow missed having a soulmate. Secondly, I „accidentally“ discovered (and watched) the documentary „A Match Made In Heaven“ on YouTube, and the film’s title inspired this poem. It was the sound of the title that delivered the complete lines, indeed the entire work, to me within minutes.

Was hat mich zu diesen Zeilen inspiriert? Nun ja, zum einen hatte ich eine Zeit, wo ich insgeheim eine tiefe Sehnsucht nach einer wahren Verbindung mit einer Frau hatte. Ich fühlte mich in dieser Lebensphase etwas einsam, obwohl ich eigentlich schon glücklich war. Mir ging es gut, doch eine Seelenpartnerin fehlt irgendwie doch schon. Zum anderen habe ich „zufällig“ die Dokumentation „A Match Made In Heaven“ auf YouTube entdeckt (und auch angeschaut) und der Filmtitel hat mich zu diesem Gedicht inspiriert. Es war der Klang des Titels, der mir die kompletten Zeilen bzw. das gesamte Werk innerhalb von Minuten „frei Haus lieferte“.
